Patrice & Friends is a new project by ruffneck house producer Slackk.

We’re not sure whether it’s Slackk working solo or accompanied, but a bit of minor mystery never hurt anybody. There are several Patrice & Friends videos uploaded to YouTube – smooth grooves inspired by Shangaan Electro and juke appear to be the order of the day. You can watch them below.

A Patrice & Friends album, brilliantly titled Cashmere Sheets, is apparently due at some point.
