Update: So this is what happened to the second Jamie xx ‘Bloom’ remix. Thanks to plestik on Twitter for that heads up.


Jamie xx’s third remix of Radiohead’s ‘Bloom’ (though the second is apparently yet to emerge - thanks for the heads up), will be released on a white label single.

The xx’s producer and percussionist’s dancefloor-directed rework already featured as part of Radiohead’s TKOL RMX series (a series of 12″ singles that saw the likes of Blawan, Objekt and Four Tet remix tracks from Radiohead’s 2011 album King of Limbs, eventually compiled as one CD compilation), but Young Turks will press 500 copies of it as a standalone single. It’s available to preorder at their online shop now, and you can stream audio of it below.
