Last month, we reported on Night Slugs’ Club Constructions series.
A new series of releases that will run alongside the Night Slugs main records, Club Constructions represents a “new home for [the label's] most direct productions … a channel for raw and tracky material aimed straight for the dancefloor.”
The first Club Constructions comes from label co-owner L-Vis 1990, following his Neon Dreams LP from last year. It’s in stark contrast to the hi-res vocal pop of that album: tape-saturated “modern-day ghetto hard house” aimed straight at peak-time ‘floors, with nods to Lil Louis’s ‘Original Video Clash’, Dancemania and the rest of it.
