Dave Longstreth and company tackle the Diplo-produced world-beater.

Dirty Projectors stopped by Australian radio station Triple J, performing a cover of Usher’s 2012 highlight ‘Climax’ for the station’s “Like a Version” series. Longstreth and Amber Hoffman trade verses, and while the former’s falsetto can’t quite hit the stratospheric high notes, it’s an interesting recreation of the song.

The last Dirty Projectors foray into R&B, 2009’s ‘Stillness is the Move’, was memorably covered by Solange. In other DP news, Hoffman appears on Major Lazer’s forthcoming album Free the Universe.
