A new chapter.
Several of the original actors from Twin Peaks are to be featured in a new audiobook, The Secret History of Twin Peaks, by series co-creator Mark Frost.
Kyle MacLachlan, Russ Tamblyn, Michael Horse, Chris Mulkey and David Patrick Kelly will participate in the audio version of Frost’s novel, which picks up where the 1991 series finale left.
The cast also includes Amy Shiels, James Morrison and Robert Knepper, who all appear in Showtime’s reboot of the show, which is set to premiere in 2017. The book will be available from October 18.
The Twin Peaks reboot, for which David Bowie was set to reprise his role as Agent Phillip Jeffries, could be released as early as January 2017. Trent Reznor, Sky Ferreira and Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedde are among the cast members.
Earlier this month, the long-awaited vinyl reissue of Angelo Badalamenti’s Twin Peaks OST was released via Death Waltz Records. [via Entertainment Weekly]
