The festival is “fully postponed”.

Ja Rule has apologized for the chaos that arose from his Fyre Fest after attendees complained of “refugee camp conditions” at the luxury music festival. He ensures the festival was not a scam and that all attendees will receive a refund.

Helmed by the rapper and tech entrepreneur Billy McFarland, Fyre Fest was booked with performances by Blink-182, Skepta, Disclosure and Rae Sremmurd and was advertised as a glamormous Bahamas getaway with the help of No. 1 Pepsi Fan Kendall Jenner.

After attendees reportedly experienced nine-hour delays getting to the island, social media began to flare up with images and reports of half-built tents, piles of garbage, sub-standard food and mishandled luggage.

The festival has since been “fully postponed”.
