We at FACT do like to spoil you, our dear readers. This week we’re giving away a pair of free tickets to the 2010 Sónar festival in Barcelona.

Sónar, in case you hadn’t noticed, is one of the world’s best music festivals, and the absolute gold standard in terms of showcasing the whole gamut of quality electronic music, from the austere avant-garde to the ravey and party-minded. What’s more it takes place in in Barcelona, surely the most fun and sun-assured city in any given June.

Only a few names have yet so far been announced for the 2010 edition of the festival, which takes place on June 17-19, but they’re enough to already have us booking time off and scouring the web for cheap return flights: LCD Soundsystem, The Chemical Brothers, Air and Dizzee Rascal are among the confirmed headliners. With more names to be announced tomorrow (Thursday 25 February), tickets are only going to get more covetable.

You want to go, don’t you? So why fork out for tickets when you can win them with FACT? Exactly.

The entry process for this competition is slightly different to our usual. To show our love for all of you who follow us on Twitter, and to add more of you to that ever-growing family, to be entered in this comp you must a) follow us on Twitter and b) re-tweet the ‘Win a pair of Sonar tickets’ tweet that we’ll be posting today and repeatedly over the next ten days.

You can follow us at any time, and re-tweet at any time, so if you’re not on Twitter at present, there’s no need to worry. As long as you register as a FACT follower and re-tweet the message at any point in the next ten days, you’ll be entered into the competition.

So, in summary, here’s how you enter:

1. You must be a registered user of Twitter.
2. You must opt to ‘follow’ us (twitter.com/factmagazine) on Twitter.
3. You must re-tweet one of the several ‘Win a pair of Sonar tickets’ tweets that we’ll be posting to all our followers.
4. Do the above and you will be automatically entered into the draw, no need to do anything else.

The competition closes at midnight on Friday 5 March; the winner will be notified soon after via, appropriately enough, Twitter.

Feel free to pass on this info to all your friends and followers on Twitter, the more involved, the merrier. Just remember, all entrants must follow FACT on Twitter and re-tweet the message, it’s not enough simply to re-tweet.
