Even if you’re skint or on a detox, Warm’s party this Friday, 14 January, is going to be damned hard to resist.

Why? Because Joy Orbison and Ben UFO will be playing all night long. Joy needs little introduction, though its worth pointing out that his DJ sets over the past year have been especially impressive – visceral but beautifully sculpted, UKG and dubstep-flecked house and techno sessions that don’t really sound like anyone else. Indeed, the only comparable selector right now is preternaturally skilled Hessle Audio co-founder Ben UFO, who has long been a FACT favourite, always repping the cutting edge favouring new-for-new’s-sake (no mean feat). Like Joy, Ben’s origins are in jungle, and this always seems to come across in the swagger of their sets.

The party runs 9pm-3am at Plastic People in Shoreditch, London. It’s bound to be a roadblock, so if you’re thinking of heading down we strongly advise you to pick up an £8 advance ticket here.
