FaltyDL today makes his debut on Swamp81 with ‘Mean Streets Part 1’.

Three tracks deep, the release marks some of Falty’s best work to date, and makes for a fitting accompaniment to his recent ‘Hip Love’ single and album You Stand Uncertain. Unlike most Swamp releases, only 500 copies of ‘Mean Streets’ has been pressed, each bound with a numbered sticker. It’s also quite pricey as a result – between £9 and £10 depending on where you look.

Funkystepz will follow their Hyperdub single ‘Fuller’ with an EP for digital label F.L.Y., sporting four tracks including the superb ‘Shocker’. That’s due in early May.

Hessle Audio have announced a new Peverelist 12″ for April 4, titled ‘Dance til the Police Come’. You can hear audio of it on this recent Peverelist mix.

Rurally-inclined Boomkat icon Richard Skelton (as  Carousell) has re-released Black Swallow & Other Songs. Originally released in a run of 100 CDs in 2009, this marks the record’s first vinyl run, on Skelton’s Sustain Release imprint.

One of our favourite current artists, French producer Jay Weed, came to FACT’s attention with a slew of weighty house mutations late last year including the superb ‘Prism’ on 502 Recordings. This week, he follows that up with ‘On the Nile’ on Sinden’s Grizzly label, backed with remixes by Becoming Real and more.

Unknown to the Unknown, a new project of Hot City lynchpin DJ Haus, has released its first single, backed with a remix from Detroit gatekeeper and recent FACT mixer DJ Stingray. Throwing Snow’s Snow Ghosts project has released the Lost at Sea EP on Black Acre, Subeena will release the three-track digital EP Wrong For Me next week, and Manchester clubnight-turned-label Hoya:Hoya has dropped their second single, a split between Lorn, Eliphino and Ras G.

Finally, there’s a new live Glasser EP available now on iTunes, and singles by Burial, Caribou and Panda Bear that we’ve already covered in full.
