Sandra Electronics are giving away a previously unreleased track, ‘Live In Santa Barbara 2009’, as a free download.

Originally an alias of Karl O’Connor (aka Regis), Sandra became a duo last year with the recruitment of O’Connor’s Sandwell District compadre Juan ‘Silent Servant’ Mendez (also one half of Tropic of Cancer) for the stupendous ‘It Slipped Her Mind’ 10″. The short ‘n sweet ‘Live In Santa Barbara 2009′ has a similar vibe to that single – acid-spiked, minimalist raga-pop that betrays its makers’ love of Spacemen 3 as much as DAF.
