Optimo Music will give a full release to Chris Carter’s 1985 track ‘Moonlight’ this November.

Originally released as part of Carter’s Mondo Beat album, ‘Moonlight’ was a cult hit in the late ’80s, with a slowed-down bootleg version apparently making waves on the Belgian New Beat scene and amongst Italian Cosmic DJs. This represents the first official single release of the track, and comes backed with remixes by Neurotic Drum Band and (on digital only) Oneohtrix Point Never.

Carter, as most of you will know, was a founding member of industrial legends Throbbing Gristle, and a proficient artist throughout the ’80s and ’90s both solo and alongside Cosey Fanni Tutti. You can stream Oneohtrix’s ‘Moonlight’ remix below, via The Quietus‘s Soundcloud.
