The Lancaster upstarts take on the Afropop of Seye’s ‘Mexicana Bounce.’

Bondax are adding to their intrigue with each new offering. On their remix of the Seye’s ‘Mexicana Bounce,’ the duo uses the same palette as they did on ‘It’s You:’ chopped-up vocal samples, soothing synth stabs, and a shuffling beat that takes the title’s “bounce” to heart.

For his part, Seye, a British-Nigerian singer-songwriter, is taking Paul Simon’s Afrobeat-inspired melodies full circle on his personal brand of electropop. Download the Bondax remix below, courtesy Annie Mac Presents.
