‘Seven Years of Bad Luck for Fun’ plays like the trailer for a psychological thriller.

Directed by Phil Nisco, the video is a series of strobing, dizzying camera shots that, whether of sullen women or hairless cats, are generally pretty creepy (but maybe not as creepy as his album trailer). Our protagonist, after shaving his head and screaming underwater, ends up at a Gaslamp Killer gig, naturally.

‘Seven Years of Bad Luck for Fun’, featuring Dimlite, is an acrobatic, buzz-sawing mindfuck that appears on the Brainfeeder affiliate’s debut album, Breakthrough, which FACT reviewed last month.
