Glasser‘s 2010 debut album Ring was an underrated gem, and whilst comparisons to Bjork were somewhat inevitable, New York-based Cameron Mesirow’s melancholy electronic pop still felt like a breath of fresh air.

‘Shape’ is the first taste of her brand new album, due this Autumn, and appears to follow Ring‘s lead with subtle, bubbling beats and an another assured turn from Mesirow on vocals. Icy and beautiful, this is the kind of pop that never fails to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, and that’s rarely a bad thing.

You can read a hand written letter from Mesirow on her site here.
