After keeping us on our toes with a trail of club-obliterating 12”s over the past four years, the arrival of his intricate, genre-blurring debut full-length Flatland this year proved just how far the Berlin-based producer’s craft has matured since the dubstep-inspired banger days of ‘The Goose That Got Away’ and ‘Cactus’. In this short FACT TV doc, TJ Hertz talks about his first exposure to music in the womb, the battle between technique and emotion, his perfectionist streak and more.
