Hot Chip will release a new single, ‘I Feel Better’, on April 19 via Parlophone Records.

The track is taken from their well-received fourth album, One Life Stand, which came out last month. It’s got anthem potential written all over it, and the band purport to have taken rhythmic inspiration from Chicago house and UK funky.

Fittingly, they’ve enlisted a remix from top boys Ill Blu (pictured above), whose Princess Nya-voiced ‘Frontline’ was one of 2009’s biggest UKF records (and was dropped to memorable effect by the ‘Chip’s Joe Goddard when he DJ’d at one of FACT’s Lock Tavern parties).

Also on remix duty are Optimo-affiliated hi-NRG types Den Haan and pop mischief-maker Richard X. We’re not sure yet which of the remixes, if any, will see a physical release, but will let you know when we do.
