Alright, it’s no secret that Four Tet will be on the buttons for a future Fabric mix CD, but we now have some details.

The veteran electronic producer’s mix will be number 59 in the long-running FabricLive series, and will be released on September 19. From Four Tet’s recent Twitter posts, we gather it will feature a lot of garage – something that makes sense given the amount of old 2step he’s played in his recent DJ sets – as well as David Borden, funnily enough.

Four Tet also revealed in a recent interview that he’ll be releasing some new original productions on a 12″ for his Text label before the end of the year. And in an interview with fellow UK producer James Holden that vinyl is still his preferred way of listening to music: “It’s just the way I like it, whatever’s going on with digital stuff or not.”
