The MellowHype man and OFWGTKA regular will release Untitled on Friday.

Always seeking attention, those Odd Future boys. As if setting the internet into paroxysms with the goofy (and, whisper it, not especially good) ‘Rella’ video wasn’t enough, Hodgy Beats has caused a further stir by announcing the imminent release of a surprise EP.

If Hodgy’s Twitter feed is to be believed, the album is going to feature some seriously impressive collaborators. LA beat wizard Flying Lotus is allegedly on production duty, as are Alchemist, Juicy J and Thelonious Martin. As Prefix notes, FlyLo has retweeted Hodgy’s announcement, so it looks like this might be more than just another bit of pesky OFWGKTA prankage. No official word yet as to how the EP will be made available, but Odd Future’s website is probably a good bet.
