After scores of deaths in the Caribbean, the fatality count when Sandy hit the US was, thankfully, low – but the storm has still had devastating consequences.

As part of the relief effort following the storm, a roster of major stars have been assembled to raise funds for those displaced and damaged by the storm. The 121212 concert – taking place on December 12, naturally – will feature a headline appearance from Sir Paul McCartney. Kanye West is lined up to perform, as are Alicia Keys and Billy Joel. Jon Bon Jovi and The Who are on the bill, and Bruce Springsteen will appear with the E Street Band. Proceeds from the event will go towards the Robin Hood fund, which is working to distribute charity funds in the aftermath of the storm.
