35,000 lights, 250 extension cords, and a dubstep soundtrack.

According to Huffington Post (from a report by cable news affiliate NWCN), the Cadger family of Meridian, Idaho has decorated their home with a Skrillex-soundtracked lightshow.

“We have around 35,000 lights, and 80 Light O Rama Channels,” says Scott Cadger. “And it’s all done by me, a 17 year old, and my dad.” Last year, the family set their massive display to Skrillex’s ‘First Of The Year (Equinox)’; this year’s display is set to a mix of the EDM kingpin’s ‘Bangarang’ and ‘Cinema’.

The lights are active on Friday and Saturday night from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. the rest of the week. Thankfully, the family broadcasts the soundtrack via the radio, not by stadium-sized subwoofers, and it’s all for a good cause: they ask that visitors bring food to donate to the Idaho Food Bank.
