Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor releases football-referencing new EP, Nayim from the Halfway Line

Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor has released a new EP.

Titled Nayim from the Halfway Line, in tribute to the 1995 Cup Winners Cup football final that saw Real Zaragoza’s Nayim beat Arsenal’s David Seaman from – as you may have guessed – the halfway line, it’s both announced and released today.

Described as “self-recorded and self-produced, with a heavy groove based element”, you can watch an introductory video to Nayim from the Halfway Line below. The 12″ version is out now; digital downloaders will have to wait until December 17.

Tracklist:
Rhodes Dream
You Want Me
Hot Squash
Jesus’ Birthday
