The resurgent über-producer joins HOVA’s stable.

Fresh off producing Justin Timberlake’s ‘Suit & Tie’ (which features a verse from Jay-Z), Timbaland has joined the label / entertainment company. The roster of Roc Nation includes British singer-songwriter Rita Ora and rappers J. Cole and Jay Electronica, among others — a group that could probably benefit from some Timbaland beats.

The news was shared on Jay’s Life + Times blog, along with the lyric “And I won’t surrender it with beats by Timbaland” from the Timbo-produced ‘Hola Hovito’ (below). The pair’s most notable collaboration, however, was on the 2000 classic ‘Big Pimpin’. [via Complex]
