With Wiley’s upcoming The Ascent just around the corner and his retirement (possibly) following, it seems as good a time as any for a documentary.

Ascending is to be given away with pre-orders of the full-length and from the looks of this trailer features a whole host of guests, all willing to weigh in on the importance of the Godfather of grime. Scene veterans Kano, Chipmunk and  pop up to wax lyrical about how Wiley influenced their paths, and fresh-faced singer Conor Maynard appears too.

We’ve no idea how deep Ascending might go, but we’re never going to knock back an opportunity for a little more study. Have a peep at our interview with the man himself here.
