Bristol producer Guido will release his second album, Moods of Future Joy, on November 4.

Part of Bristol’s much-hyped ‘Purple Trilogy’ with Joker and Gemmy, Guido’s early singles were initially lumped in with the then-fledgling dubstep movement. In truth though, they always owed more to video games and hip-hop than they did dub or garage, and Guido’s debut album, Anidea, was a stirring collection of imaginary RPG soundtracks.

For Moods of Future Joy, Guido sidesteps from one Bristol label, Punch Drunk, to another, Tectonic. You can stream Guido’s most recent FACT mix here.
