Sales of James Blake‘s Overgrown have jumped more than 2500% at Amazon in the wake of it winning the Mercury Prize.

Blake beat off competition from Savages, David Bowie and more to scoop the prize last week. Blake had been candid about the album’s sales in the lead up to its release, telling The Guardian that the pre-sales “were hideous”.

You can watch Blake’s brilliantly awkward interview with Newsnight after winning the award here, and read Angus Finlayson’s review of Overgrown here.
