Prince has reportedly dropped his $22 million lawsuit against internet bootleggers.

Earlier this week, it emerged that Prince was demanding the money from net users that he claims enabled the free distribution of recordings of his gigs, dating back to the ’80s – including the people behind Prince fan sites such as Purple House.

According to TMZ, Prince has now dropped the lawsuit, two days after it went public (the lawsuit was originally filed two weeks ago).
