Deeper-than-deep house producer lines up his first full-length.

Detroit’s Patrice Scott will release his debut LP Euphonium on his own Sistrum Recordings later this year.

And that’s about all the information available, other than the fact the album will be preceded by a teaser, The Euphonium EP, containing three untitled tracks, one of which is an ambient piece.

Scott has been DJing since the ’80s but only began producing solo records under his own name in the mid-2000s. If you’re not familiar with his oeuvre – warm, atmospheric grooves underpinned by the poise and dynamism of Motor City – then check out his FACT mix from 2013 below.

The EP is due out any day now while the album is set to appear in late 2014. [via RA]
