File alongside rappers as ancient art and their lyrics as classic paintings.

Here’s our Internet find of the day: French artist David Redon crafts pop art reworkings on his site Ads Libitum. His latest series, entitled MusiXploitation, does exactly what it says on the tin, mashing up classic songs and exploitation flicks with a focus on hip-hop and Blaxploitation.

While Jay-Z’s ‘Big Pimpin’ vs. Black Shampoo and Snoop’s ‘Nuthin’ But A G Thang’ vs. Superfly are no-brainers, Redon touches on non-Blaxploitation cult classics, as well, like OutKast’s ATLiens vs. C.H.U.D. Check out the full collection at his Tumblr and buy prints from his webstore. [via SteadyBloggin]
