Someone's remade that awful Ralph Lauren vinyl advert with a trance soundtrack

Ralph Lauren’s latest advert has been the subject of much debate this last month – mostly because it’s awful.

In short (and the advert is, thankfully, short), it’s an attempt to rechristen vinyl shopping as a pursuit of the fox-hunting classes, with a pair of giggling Made in Chelsea clones rummaging their hooves through the racks of their local record store. We know, we know – the Eton Messy jokes write themselves.

Today however, from this sack of shit comes a silver lining, as one Facebook user has completely flipped the ad on its head. How? By adding a ’90s trance soundtrack.

Check it out below. Ralph Lauren, to be fair, aren’t the only brand to have filmed horrific adverts in record stores over the years: other past offenders include Budweiser, Imodium and this particularly abhorrent attempt by Match.com.
