Richard Skelton to debut new album this spring during UK performances

The British composer will premiere his new album under the Inward Circles moniker during a trio of live performances, titled Landscape, throughout the UK.

Richard Skelton is best known for his dense compositions inspired by very specific areas in nature. 2010’s excellent Landings for example was inspired by the moors of Northern England. His newest album has moves in what he describes as a different and darker direction, inspired by what lies beneath the earth itself. The new material, which he described as “layers of harmonic till with outcrops of more obdurate material; moraines of static, veins of melody,” will first be played live at the beow dates where the record will be available to buy for the first time.

March 20 – Manchester, Islington Mill

March 21 – Bexhill on Sea, De La Warr Pavillion

March 22 – London, St. John at Hackney Church
