Drake breaks another record.

Released just last Friday, Drake’s surprise mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late has already broken Spotify’s record for first week streams in the United States. The company yesterday reported that songs from the mixtape had been streamed more than 17.3 million times since Friday. It also broke the record for single day streams, with 6.8 million listens on Saturday (February 14).

It seems like Spotify success is something the artist is used to – the previous record holder was Drake’s 2013 album Nothing Was The Same, which achieved an impressive 15.8 million track streams in its first week. [via Billboard]
