Rihanna’s latest single was played on BBC Radio 1 this afternoon and swiftly surfaced online.

‘Towards The Sun’ is a rousing, cinematic ballad in the Florence Welch mould and finds Riri hovering at the very top of her register – listen below and buy it now from iTunes. It’s taken from her specially created soundtrack to the forthcoming Dreamworks animation Home, which is out on March 17 and also stars the pop singer.

The track follows ‘FourFiveSeconds’, her stripped back collaboration with Kanye West and Paul McCartney.
