The founding member of Yes dies of leukemia.

Chris Squire, the bassist, backing vocalist, and founding member of iconic prog rock band Yes, has died at 67 following a battle with leukemia. The news came through a statement from Yes’ Facebook page who said Squire died peacefully last night in the arms of his wife.

Yes are one of the definitive and most influential progressive rock bands of all time. In addition to being a founding member and primary songwriter, Squire was the only member to appear on every single one of the band’s 21 albums.
