The Seattle-bred MC-producer returns with his second full-length of 2015.

Thraxxhouse mastermind Mackned has had a busy 2015, releasing Cyber Magicka and the perfectly-titled Hurt Cobain EP. Today, he drops FEMALE, a dour collection of rap tracks that draws from trap, cloud rap and various strands of drugged-out, Auto-Tuned menace and melody.

There’s something for everyone, from the Atlanta-via-Seattle ‘Rich & Lonely’ to the cloudy missive ‘Disaster Pending’ to the bouncy, emo-rap of ‘Elissa Steamer’. Features come from his Thraxxhouse crew and beyond (Key Nyata, Nacho Picasso, SneakGuapo and more) with production by Tommy Kruise, DJ Kenn, Mackned himself and more.

Stream FEMALE and watch the uneasy video for ‘Never Play Us’ (directed by Will Hoopes) below.
