The one-off performance will take place on October 20.

Kendrick Lamar will perform selections from his sophomore album To Pimp a Butterfly with the National Symphony Orchestra next month.

Lamar will appear alongside an orchestra conducted by Steven Reineke, who has previously led performances featuring Nas and John Legend. Reineke is currently in his fifth year as Principal Pops Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra.

The performance will take place at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. on October 20 at 8pm. Tickets for the event start at $35 and go on sale to Kennedy Center members on September 29. Remaining tickets will be made available to the general public on September 30. [via Billboard]
