Roland’s worst-kept secret is out.

Roland has officially unveiled its Boutique range of synths, which update the vintage Jupiter-8, Juno-106 and JX-3P models with a compact, modular design.

Details of the JP-08, JU-06 and JX-03 Roland Boutique synths leaked in September, and Roland’s official site confirms what we already suspected. Each has a step sequencer, built-in speakers, can be chained together to expand polyphony and is able to dock into an optional mini keyboard, the K-25m.

The synths are expected to ship in the next few months. Until then, you can see them in action in the video below.
