Roland go behind the scenes of Quantum Break for an interview with the game’s composer.

Through his work as a producer, composer and sound designer, Petri Alanko has been involved in crafting the atmosphere of some of the world’s best video games. In 2010, the Finnish musician took home the BAFTA Games Award for Best Original Score for his work on psychological horror Alan Wake.

In this six minute clip from Roland, Alanko explains the equipment he used in composing the score for upcoming action title Quantum Break, including a sizeable modular set-up that features Roland’s AIRA System-1M.

“With games, anything can happen,” Alanko says. “Sometimes, music leads, and sometimes it’s reacting to your actions.”
