The Berlin trio are back with their second album.

Ambiq are a trio consisting of Max Loderbauer, Claudio Puntin, and Samuel Rohrer who blend modular synth, delayed woodwinds, and shambling percussion to make something that evokes a sleazy lounge floating without gravity. Their 2014 debut lingered on the edges of jazz, dark ambience, and experimental electronic music to the point that it wasn’t surprising the material made for some quality remixes from artists including Ricardo Villalobos and Tobias.
