Chief Keef’s deal with FilmOn Music has gone sour.

Seven months after signing a deal with the company, which is owned by Greek billionaire Alki David, Keef’s contract has been “suspended” over an unauthorised tour.

In a statement to VladTV, David blamed Keef’s team rather than the rapper himself.

“Chief Keef’s contract was suspended two weeks ago because his management went off and did a tour without our approval,” said David, who wants to take Keef’s career further than the circuit his management team currently keeps him in. “Same shit over and over,” he added. “Limiting his appeal to a wider audience and I’m not saying he should sell out, just be more prolific.”

FilmOn even repossessed Keef’s BMW while on tour. “I don’t blame Keith – I blame his shady management,” David concluded. “Keith is a fucking rap superstar.”

Keef’s recent mixtape Finally Rollin 2 found the Chicago staple going back to basics but continuing to surprise.
