The Chicago rapper discusses violence in his city only a week after being shot in the head.

Last week we got the upsetting news that rapper King Louie had been shot several times in his hometown of Chicago. Now, only a week after the shooting and a day after being released from the hospital, Louis Johnson has appeared on CNN for a brief interview discussing his shooting and gun violence in Chicago. H

He explains in the interview he still has three bullets in his body — two in his chest and one in his head. Johnson also discusses his work with the “Put The Guns Down” campaign and how “the devil is working overtime in Chicago,” but he still feels hope for his city. Watch the interview below.
