A collection of bleak, lonely drones just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Dead Letters Spell Out Dead Words is the project of Gothenburg-based artist Thomas Martin Ekelund, who also crafts brutal industrial music under the name Trepaneringsritualen. The more atmospheric Dead Letters, on the other hand, glimpses at a more beautiful and sad side to Ekelund’s work. You can hear it on the harrowing No Words, a 2009 cassette release that will now receive its first vinyl pressing through American label Cloister Recordings. In a sly bit of scheduling the release will be available February 14.
