The singer thanks fans “a million times over and forever” for support after a judge ruled she must remain in contract with the producer she alleges raped her.

Kesha has made her first public statement following last Friday’s controversial court ruling in her civil lawsuit against producer Dr Luke.

“I am beyond words in gratitude. Thank you is not enough but it is all I have,” the 28-year-old posted on Instagram, following a huge groundswell of support from artists including Grimes, Lorde, Zedd, Fiona Apple and Taylor Swift.

“The support I have received has left my face swollen from tears. I love you all so much,” she continued, adding that an official statement on the ruling is coming soon.

A statement from Dr Luke earlier this week welcomed New York Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich’s ruling, insisting that “any claim Kesha isn’t free is a myth.”
