The composer behind one of 2015’s best video game soundtracks returns.

The Witcher 3 wasn’t just one of the best video games of 2015, it also had one of the best soundtracks. Sapkowski’s score went beyond typical fantasy tropes and referenced the game’s eastern European lore by embracing traditional Polish folk music.

Game developer CD Projekt Red has just announced that Sapkowski will return for their next game, the sci-fi focused Cyberpunk 2077. The game has been in development for about five years and is expected to appear later this year.
