South America’s vinyl production continues to grow.
Argentina will get its first new record pressing plant next month with the opening of Laser Disc. The plant owns two presses which will be able to produce 40,000 records a month once up and running.
It’s an exciting time for the vinyl business in South American, last month saw the announcement of Vinyl Brazil, another plant that promised to quadruple vinyl production in the continent with 140,000 monthly pressing rate. Laser Disc is expected to open at the end of March. [via The Vinyl Factory]
