The Swans frontman’s London shows are still happening.

In the lead up to Swans’ upcoming final album frontman Michael Gira had a tour of solo acoustic dates scheduled in Australia and Europe. He has since cancelled the three Australian tour dates, although the European leg of the tour (which begins March 30 with a performance in London with Thurston Moore) appears to have been unchanged.

There is no explanation for the cancellation of the Australian dates, although it’s particularly timely in the wake of last week’s accusations of rape by former collaborator Larkin Grimm. Read the latest update on that here.
