Let’s try again.

A petition calling for a second EU referendum in the UK was launched yesterday with Thom Yorke sharing it early this morning on Twitter.

The petition states “We the undersigned call upon HM Government to implement a rule that if the remain or leave vote is less than 60% based a turnout less than 75% there should be another referendum.”

Signatures for the petition currently stand at 1.5m, and rising.

Yorke also shared an article detailing how some of the areas who voted to leave stand to lose out the most.

Earlier, Yorke also signed an open letter calling the American Congress to help stop gun violence alongside Iggy Pop, Beck, Katy Perry, Britney Spears and more. [Via NME]
