This seemed inevitable.

Beyoncé and her three hearts have pulled out of her headlining gig at this year’s Coachella.

In a statement to the Associated Press, Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and Coachella organizers Goldenvoice said that she is “following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months” but that she will reprise her headlining role at the 2018 festival.

Amid speculation that she would have to cancel his scheduled performance, TMZ reported that she would still be compensated via an insurance clause were she to drop out. They also reported that she had two unnamed special guests who had already booked accommodations for the festival. Alas.

Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead are still confirmed for their headlining spots, but a Beyoncé replacement has not yet been announced.

How was she going to top this anyway?
