Last month, we profiled Rabit, a Houston producer making some of the most out-there grime around.

When we say out-there, it’s quite literal in the case of his new single ‘Sun Showers’: it takes the delicate square waves from grime classics like Ruff Sqwad’s ‘Misty Cold’ and XTC’s ‘Functions on the Low’ and sends them deep into space, with each note hovering, perfectly poised in stasis.

It will be released as part of a four-track EP on Japanese label Diskotopia – they released last year’s excellent Things That Fade album by Greeen Linez – on October 7. FACT TV have premiered the video above.
