It’s barely been a fortnight since this year’s Celebration Day DVD dropped, but 1970s rock behemoths Led Zeppelin have announced yet more archival releases.

Speaking to Mojo, Led Zep figurehead Jimmy Page revealed that he is working on remastered boxset editions of a number of LPs by the band. It’s currently unclear exactly which albums will be reissued, but each box set will definitely feature unheard material.

In Page’s words: “There are a number of Led Zeppelin projects that will come out next year because there are different versions of tracks that we have that can be added to the album so there will be box sets of material that will come out, starting next year. There will be one box set per album with extra music that will surface.”

The news follows the intriguing revelation that Robert Plant has been recruited to appear on Primal Scream’s forthcoming album. [via NME]
