Polarizing starlet Miley Cyrus shakes the neon excess of Bangerz for a moment to indulge in some LDR.

It works too, her stripped-down rework (recorded for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge) is a beauty, and manages to evoke the spirit of the original without coming across as simply a pastiche. It should probably appeal to those fans who weren’t too happy at Miley’s recent rap-oriented directional shift, too.
